Many ghosts, skeletons and goblins may be seen in the streets on Halloween Night.

They are really little children, dressed in costumes, going to "trick or treat."
This means that they go to people's houses, knock on their doors, and when the owner comes to the door the children yell,
"Trick or treat!" Then the children are given a treat such as a peice of candy or fruit; if they don't receive candy,
they are supposed to play a trick on the person who answers the door. Of couse, it is customary for everyone to have some treats ready,
so rarely do the children play any tricks.

Students and adults usually have costume parties or dances to go to on Halloween Night. Some choose to dress up as ghosts or goblins,
but most people try to think of something entirely new and surprising to wear, because often a prize is given to the preson with the most
unusual costume. So, at one of these parties you might very well see someone dressed up as a big ice cream cone, or a computer, or even a car.

What do children do when they "trick or treat"?
A: They knock on peoples doors and ask for candy.
